Important Budget Vote and Election Information

  • 2021-2022 Library Budget

    The second budget work session is scheduled for Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 7:00PM via Zoom.  

    The Budget Information Meeting will take place on May 12, 2021 at 7:00PM via Zoom.

    A copy of the Proposed 2021-2022 Budget will be distributed to the community prior to the Budget -Trustee Vote. The proposed Library Budget will also be made available on the Library website and upon request. Please Check back for updates. 

    Nominating Petitions

  • Wyandanch School District residents who are interested in running for the position of Library Trustee should contact the Library's Director at (631)643-4848 or info@wyandanchlibrary.org to request nominating petitions. You may also access the Nominating Petition by clicking here.

    Nominating petitions must be submitted to the Library no later than Monday, April 26, 2021 at 5:00PM in order to appear on the ballot for the May 25, 2021 election. The Library Building is currently closed to the public for health and safety reasons due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  However, petitions may be submitted in-person during weekday service hours or petition drop-off hours.

VITA Tax Prep

In lieu of having in-person VITA Tax Prep assistance this year at the Wyandanch Public Library, Bethpage VITA will be holding virtual tax appointments only.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offers free tax help for low to moderate income (generally $57,000 and below) individuals and families. Bilingual assistance in English/Spanish is available by appointment only.
