Computer and Wi-fi Access:

The Young Adult room has nine computers available for patron use. They have internet and database access for homework and research assignments, games, etc. Click Here to view the library's computer use policy.

Young Adult Advisory Board:

Join the Young Adult Advisory Board as we discuss teen issues, brainstorm to develop new ideas for teen programs, implement community service initiatives, and participate in recreational activities. The Young Adult Advisory Board meets every Wednesday at 4:30 pm — 6:00 pm.

 

Teen Craft Zone:

Teen Game Day:

Attention all Teens! Challenge your friends to a little friendly competition with exciting board and video games. Relax, socialize, and have fun. View the Calendar of Events or the library newsletter for dates and times.

Teen Book Club:

Readers wanted! Come join fellow teens as we read and discuss new and award winning literature. Drop by the Y.A desk to pick up your copy of the book at the beginning of the month and then meet as a group to discuss and voice your opinions.

Video Game Tournament:

Gamers wanted! Come on down and compete against local teens to crown yourself as Wyandanch’s video game champion.

Chess Instruction:

Stop by on Saturdays at 1:30 pm if you would like to learn how to play Chess or simply need to brush up on your game.
